How Laverne works
Laverne works on audits from the return outward. Before she writes to an examiner, she goes through the return line by line with you on a video call, so the two of you agree on what the records need to show.
In back-tax cases she starts with what the IRS can actually collect, then works toward the plan you can keep paying. She'd rather tell you on the first call that you can set up a plan yourself than take a fee you don't need to pay.
She grew up in southwest Atlanta and still spends Saturday mornings at the West End farmers market.
