Fees
What each flat fee covers
Every fee is for one matter, agreed in an engagement letter before work starts. It doesn't change if the IRS takes longer than expected. The tax, penalties and interest are never part of it: those go to the IRS.

Paying us
About paying a flat fee
When do I pay?
Half when you sign the engagement letter and half when we file the main request or answer. For an audit by mail, the second half is due when we send the records.
What if my case turns out bigger?
If the IRS adds a year or opens a new issue, we tell you before doing more and quote it as a separate matter. We never add hours to a flat fee.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. We can spread a fee over up to four monthly payments. Ask on the free call.
Is the fee refunded if the result isn't what I hoped?
No: the fee pays for the work, not an outcome, and no lawyer can promise what the IRS will decide. If we stop before the work is done, we refund the part we didn't do.
Not sure which fee is yours?
Tell us what the letter says. On the free call we'll name the matter and its price.
